How You Got Into Mountain Bike Riding:
 Growing up I was very lucky we lived in a great area for bike riding. The Cupertino / Saratoga area was were MTB's really began long before the days of repack in Marin. All my friends had pretty good MTB's in school. I was lucky enough to get my first MTB in 1988 it was a Reflex AXL-89 Easton Aluminum main tubes bonded to a brazed rear end and steel head-tube. It had a Tange Switchblade fork which had a bolt together crown Bontrager style. This bike kicked ass back before there were shocks and fancy carbon this and that. We rode everything on these bikes; climbed hills after school, bombed back down those hills, and jumped 'em like they were bmx bikes.
Biggest Mountain Bike Related Accomplishments:
 Building my own frames!

Worst Bike Related Injury:
Torn my face off on a XC ride in Soquel Demo forest... kinda flew off a graded landslide to face plant. 24 external stitches, 45 internal!
I have also shattered my Calcanius (heel bone) into 6 pieces and been hit by a car so hard it made my knee cap spin around under the skin and break in half!
